These classes are designed to be descriptive and moderately paced so that first timers can learn the basics of yoga with proper form and more experienced students have the option to deepen their practice. The class will help develop body awareness and covers basic postures (asanas) along with their modifications. Attention is paid to linking breathwork with body movement. Although we have some mats available, it is advised that students bring their own to class.
Patti is a AAAI/ISMA certified yoga instructor. She has been a fitness instructor and personal trainer for the past 15 years. Although a longtime practitioner of yoga, her love of practice really bloomed during a retreat in Costa Rica. Connecting mind, body and breath in a place that is so connected to nature was transforming. She is now inspired to bring that feeling to all her students.
